Terms of Service

1. Agreement

My Custom Signature (the "Service", "we", "us") lets you design animated email signatures. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

2. What the Service does

You can build an email signature and see a live preview for free. An active subscription is required to copy or export the paste-ready HTML, to host your signature on a private page, and to use the AI animation tools. Signatures are designed to work in Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail, but email clients vary and we can't guarantee identical rendering everywhere.

3. Your account

You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email address, so keep access to that inbox secure — anyone with it can access your account. You must be at least 16 and provide accurate information. You're responsible for activity under your account.

4. Subscriptions, billing and renewal

Paid plans are $5/month (USD) or €3/month (EUR), shown in your local currency at checkout, plus any applicable tax. Payments are handled by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each period until you cancel. We may change pricing for future periods; changes won't affect the period you've already paid for.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel anytime from the billing portal in your account. Your access continues until the end of the period you've paid for. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable and we don't prorate partial periods.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the details, text, images, logos and signatures you enter or upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to store, process, render and serve Your Content solely to operate the Service — including hosting your animated mark at a public URL so it loads inside the emails you send. You are responsible for having the rights to everything you upload, and for it being lawful.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• upload unlawful, infringing, deceptive or harmful content, or impersonate others;
• resell, redistribute or white-label the Service without our written permission;
• scrape, overload or abuse the preview and API endpoints, or circumvent the paywall or rate limits;
• use the Service to send spam or violate anyone's rights.

We may rate-limit, suspend, or remove content or accounts that break these rules.

8. AI features

The AI tools (for example, animating a signature so it "writes itself") are automated and best-effort. Stroke order and timing are estimated, not a recording of real motion, and results vary. Only upload content you have the rights to. AI use is metered by credits; generations that fail are not charged.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties — payments by Stripe, authentication, database and storage by Supabase, AI by Anthropic, and hosting by Vercel. Your use may also be subject to their terms.

10. Intellectual property

The Service, its design and the signature engine are ours. Example signatures shown on the site belong to their respective owners. These Terms don't grant you rights to our brand or code beyond using the Service as intended.

11. Availability and disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may modify, suspend or discontinue features. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated here.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, liability) will survive.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new date, and continued use after that means you accept them.
