Privacy Policy

Overview

This policy explains what My Custom Signature (the "Service", "we", "us") collects when you use it, why, and the choices you have. We don't sell your personal data.

What we collect

• Account — your email address, used for the one-time sign-in link.
• Signature content — the details you enter (name, title, email, phone, website, social links, custom text) and any images, logos, GIFs or signature photos you upload.
• Payment — subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We don't see or store your full card number; we keep your Stripe customer ID, subscription status, plan and billing currency.
• Technical and usage — your IP address and approximate country (to show your local currency and to limit abuse), plus basic browser and log data.
• AI inputs — when you use the AI animation tools, the prompt and the image you upload are sent to our AI provider to generate the result.
• Cookies — an essential cookie for your sign-in session and a functional cookie to remember your language. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How we use it

To sign you in; provide the builder, live preview, hosting and export; process subscriptions and AI credits; show pricing in your local currency; prevent abuse; provide support; comply with legal obligations; and improve the Service.

Who we share it with

We use a small set of service providers to run the Service:

• Supabase — authentication, database and file storage.
• Stripe — payments and subscription management.
• Anthropic — the AI generation tools (your prompt and uploaded image).
• Upstash — rate limiting to prevent abuse.
• Vercel — hosting and content delivery.

We may also disclose information if required by law.

A note on your animated mark

To make your signature load inside emails, your animated mark is stored at a public URL on a content-delivery network — that's how email clients fetch it. Please don't put private information inside an animated mark, since anyone with the image link could view it.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete individual signatures at any time, and you can email us to delete your account and its data. Some records (such as payment history) may be retained where the law requires.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK under GDPR, or California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or object to the processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these, email hello@mycustomsignature.com. You can also manage or cancel your subscription yourself from the billing portal in your account.

International transfers

We and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted, and our database uses row-level security. No method is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

The Service isn't intended for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
